Low fob battery symptoms

2G Genesis Sedan (2015-2016)
My car has been periodically losing complete power but will regain it when I open and close the door. Everything blacks out. It happens when I try to re-start it right after I shut it off. Someone said it can be from a low fob battery.

Beats me, but if the battery is over a year old spend $4 to find out. I have gotten a warning for low battery but you may not always.

not even $4, most dealers will give them to you for free if you ask the service advisor.
