  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I recently received a letter from the dealer to buy back my 2014 Genesis Sedan 5.0 R-Spec back for 110% of its value. Has any one else gotten an offer like this?

typical dealer tactic to get you into the dealership to buy a new car.

I had a 2012 Camaro SS that was bought back under Lemon Law, and I still get offers of anywhere from 110% to 140% of "wholesale" value from the dealership that facilitated the buy-back.

Just a gimmick to get you into the showroom. Got an email recently that they have customers looking for the same model I'm driving.

Get those a lot! Especially on the wife’s 2014 Santa Fe!

Well that’s not going to happen. It’s never been to 168. 125 yeah, but I have only 37,567 miles on it.

it is just to get you in, sell you a car, low ball you for your vehicle trade and make some good money on the rspec. rspecs are rare so yes ive seen 3k mark ups over book value for used, and yes ive heard of people coming in looking for them.

Yep ditto and it all depends on their appraisal.
