Got in my 15 5.0 Ult this morning. Was a brisk 28 F outside. 30 seconds after startup, all my driver assist systems started alarming. Puzzled, I shut her down, and restarted. No more alarm, but as I'm driving away I notice my LKAS lines aren't on the HUD. Checking those settings at a stoplight, it said System Off. When I finally parked, I checked and verified it is supposed to be on, but had shut down for some reason. Later in the drive I got my AEB warning when I had to slam on brakes, so that's working, and it saw cars on either side of my lane so that was working too.
Is this a cold weather thing? No snow or rain to block a sensor, but could have been frost maybe? Will re-check this afternoon. Just curious if others have this experience.
On another note, (FYI) I discovered peeling clearcoat on my wheels, mentioned to my dealer service department last week, they said no problem, schedule an appointment, we'll need your car for 3-4 days while we get them refinished. I bought this in May 18 2015 CPO with 23K, with all warranty extensions, electronics, wheels etc... Pleased they didn't quibble over it, just said no problem. (Jim Ellis ATL)
