Purchasing 2016 Genesis 3.8 RWD

I want to thank all of those of you who make this forum possible and valuable. Also, I truly appreciate those that are knowledgeable on the various subject matters for sharing their time and knowledge...
Anyway, I just went through the process to purchase a 2016 Genesis 3.8 RWD with 42,060 miles, from an online auto retailer. This particular vehicle has the Signature Package and the Tech Package. I picked a date in the third week of March for delivery. I would appreciate any advise on what all I should check on the vehicle during my initial inspection and test drive. I already checked the Carfax and it shows regular oil changes and tire rotations up to 42,060 miles. This vehicle appears to have been purchased and serviced by the original selling dealership in Arizona. Please advise of any other service that should have been done during, or up to this mileage... ...According to the Carfax, that was all that may have been done to the vehicle.
Also to note, I was informed that the windshield was replaced by this online auto retailer along with their "150 Point Inspection". That said; with this vehicle having "Rain Sensing Wiper and Auto Defogging Windshield." Is there anything special about the replacement windshield to inspect, to verify if this is 100 percent compatible to the Rain Sensing & Auto Defogging function? I've never had a vehicle with these options and am not familiar with the proper function of such..

Start the car. Turn the wipers on auto. Spray water on windshield to see if the wipers start.

Okay, sounds easy enough.
Just wondering if there is something special about the windshield itself, or is it all done with a sensor mounted behind the rear view mirror?

It is a sensor that sees the water. There is a good explanation of how it works from Mr. Incredible someplace on the forum.

On cars with the Lane Departure Warning System there is a camera that has to be aligned with an instrument. Not sure if your model has that.

Okay, so it don't look like I have to worry about them replacing the windshield with the wrong type, in order for this feature to function correctly.

I did check to see if the car I'm purchasing has the "Lane Departure Warning System" and it does have this option.
So being the windshield was replaced by someone like Safelite Auto Glass, is this a situation where this camera will likely need re-set by a dealer?

It may have been done already. Safelite is big enough that they may have the equipment or at least smart enough to have a dealer do it. It was mentioned before it was about $125 to have it done. Worst case, you will be able to tell in a couple of miles on the highway if you need it. Not a deal breaker

Thanks for the explanation. Being I've never driven a vehicle with that option, I don't know what is the norm.
