  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any Canadians who could recommend a place to buy 2016 CPO Genesis?

Hi there,

I live in Toronto, Ontario and planning to buy 2016 CPO which has

  1. Android Auto
  2. Safety features e.g. Pre-collision warning, lane departure
  3. heated steering
  4. V6 engine

I cannot find a CPO which is 2016 . Is it too early for 2016 CPO to come into market?

Note: I could drive 200kms if the price is right. And what price range should I expect for this one?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I would recommend trying the Hyundai dealers everywhere. They seem to be all over the place to be honest.

There's no single place to buy them. I personally bought my vehicle at a Hyundai dealership. Had to drive for a couple of hours to get there and waited a few months for a deal.

Smaller dealerships will not have a CPO, but the cars are usually in good condition I find at Hyundai dealers. Often you can expect to see the CPO with an extra 2 to 3k CAD on top. You can negotiate though. If your goal is to buy only CPO, you can only buy from a Hyundai dealer that is a larger dealer.

I would advise being careful about buying from a non-Hyundai dealer to be honest (a non-issue if you are planning on only getting CPO). Some vehicles are in good condition and I find the ones outside of Hyundai dealers are the ones in worse condition.

Have an independent mechanic inspect the vehicle.

I don't think the Genesis store in Square One deals in used vehicles, but I could be wrong. Still any vehicles there will be more expensive.

Price should be in the 23-28k CAD range before taxes and fees. Might be less for a higher mileage version or one with an accident.

Thank you. I usually check Kjiji ,Autotrader or cargurus to look out for 2016 genesis and none of them have the CPO for 2016 yet.
I will start checking with Hyundai dealer sites and check if its any different from the websites.

And I will try to get the CPO and is the CPO only good for 20k and 1 year?
And what about the rest of the warranty left on the vehicle? Would I still be able to take advantage of leftover warranty?

If I end up going local dealer route, I will try to get it checked from local mechanic for sure. Also, the luxury trim is the one which contains all the bells and whistles ,right?

Thanks for your time

Not sure.

CPO does however give you 120,000 km of vehicle warranty on the powertrain.

Technology 3.8 and Ultimate 5.0 were the top trims in Canada for 2015. Things have changed though since the G80 era.
