2018 g80 key fob programmed for 2011 Hyundai Genesis?

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have just recently purchased 2011 Hyundai Genesis 4.6. The previous owner of the car lost the spare key fob. I am going to buy a new key fob and then ask a hyundai dealer to pair/program it to my car.

While searching for the key fob, I ran across a key fob designed for 2018 G80. If I get that, would it work for my 2011 hyundai genesis? Has anybody done that?

You should go to the dealer and get the part number for the correct fob for your car, then price one from another source such as ebay, you can have the dealer or a locksmith program it... less expensive.
