  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Teslas interfering with parking sensors on '14 R-Spec

Mine does it at a particular intersection when I leave work. If I'm first at the light, probably 19 out of 20 times the front sensors trigger. Not too many Teslas around here, but I have occasionally noticed the front tripping when I'm well back from the car in front. I attribute it to ghosts. ;)
We know for certain a few things that set them off, but first in line at the intersection is unusual. Could be a traffic sensor or something giving off the right radio waves. Could be that traffic signal is used by spaceships for navigation.

Don't blame the UFOs. Alien lives matter. 😉

Just had another strange sensor issue. Was behind a Waymo minivan (Google's self-driving spin-off) at a signal and my wipers started going off. The thing has sensors all over it, but I was a bit surprised it triggered my wipers, not my parking sensors.
