It's off. Turned it of, locked it, then hold the lock buttonIs the car completely turned off? If so... how long between turning off and hitting the remote as in your video?
Update: Tried again...all combinations (car is turned off though). Will not work for me.
Probably because no Connected Services. So no remote start via phone, etc.Ah this explains it. Lucky your market got those features
Those couple features would have been nicer imo, connected services is mehProbably because no Connected Services. So no remote start via phone, etc.
Yes, it matters a lot. We don't have that here in the USME
Not sure if it matters, but I have the remote start on the key fob

Fob is only one part. The car itself has to have the program to recognize and interpret the signal. Perhaps if you can get into the engineering mode it can be done. Evidently the Accord is programmed to handle it in all trims.Greetings All. I'm not a G70 owner yet. I'm still shopping. I've looked heavily at the new Honda Accords as well. I'm a current 2011 Accord owner. On the Honda boards some who have lower trims that do not have remote start (i.e. Accord Sport) have purchased higher trim level fobs from eBay. The new fob is taken to the dealer for programming. When this is done, THEN remote start works on said lower trim. I wonder if these features (both remote start from the fob and remote window operation) would work if a G70 fob was purchased from a "market" that had this feature post program?
Honda key fobs are programable and usable on lower trims because upper trims have this feature from factory. Genesis G70 doesn't have remote start on ANY trim. You can't program something that has no capability for what you want. However you can get remote start using the Genesis app on your cellphone or install an aftermarket remote start system. That's your only two choices.
People with the G80 and G90 that have the same system as the G70 (remote start thru cell phone app but not the key fob ) have been trying to get it for the last years w/o results . Maybe we get something but I really doubt it.Never say never. If it all boils down to software, if there's a will, there's a way. As I don't have a G70 yet, I'm just going to assume you need to double tap to unlock all the doors (like on most cars I've seen). If that's the case, the software is programmed to respond in reaction to a count of button presses or in reaction to a button press after a certain "state" is achieved. Basically what I'm saying is there would be a pretty easy link for a programmer to figure it out, assuming they understand the coding language the programs for this car are written in.
Edit: It is also possible that this may involve a Hyundai engineer's expertise to accomplish. Which may be unfortunate if nobody wants to do/try it
Not true , i met someone along the road. He held my keys to my stock g70 2020 3.3 Htrac limited edition and using the remote only managed to close and open all windowsour vehicles: G70, G80, G90 do not have this feature, it has been discussed at length on this forum.
you can add such features with an aftermarket alarm and add-on features, but OEM Genesis did not provide this feature, nor can it be programmed in using a dealer tech tool (already inquired about that).
While I am sure it can easily be programmed into the car through ODBII if Genesis choose to do the programming and add it to the dealer tech tool, at this point they have not done so.
There are several after market tools like the Carista which can program features like this via a Bluetooth ODBII dongle and phone app, I have used it for several of my other vehicles (GM, Ford, Toyota), and you can do other things like reprogram the TPMS tire locations, or replace the TPMS sensors, change various features in the DIS and program a given key fob to a specific memory setting for different drivers.
in all that I have tried Hyundai and Genesis are not supported.
100% true in the US.Not true , i met someone along the road. He held my keys to my stock g70 2020 3.3 Htrac limited edition and using the remote only managed to close and open all windows
