Spare Tire in 2019 G70 3.3t RWD Sport?

Does the 2019 G70 3.3t RWD with Sport trim come with a spare tire (mini donut type) or not? There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer available in previous posts. Thanks.

This is a big plus for Genesis and the G70 3.3t Sport vs. a lot of the competition. A great example is the BMW 440i GranCoupe which (like a lot of BMW's) only comes with run flats and no spare whatsoever. So, on the BMW, if a tire goes down in the middle of nowhere (over 50 miles away from the nearest BMW Dealer or tire shop), you're basically out of luck. This is a great move by Genesis.

I've been using my spare for a week now, as my rim is being repaired.



So far it's held up great. The 50mph speed limit is killing me, though. I'm sure I'm not supposed to put on as many miles as I have on it so far, but, well, there it is...

Totally agree.

The run-flats on my BMW were neither sticky, nor comfortable. And I lived with a bottle of Slime, a tire plug kit, and a tire inflator kit in my trunk just in case I had a puncture. So happy that Genesis put a spare tire in the trunk and STILL found room for the battery. So curious why BMW can’t do this.

The G70 Dynamic edition which is almost the same car as the Sport has not spare tire. The main reason? Shaving weight.
