  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Great, now I have to hunt for a super secret button. ...no one can say this car is boring, frustrating at times yes.....not ever boring.

So on the left side of the ‘roof’ of the glove box is a valet button, the function of which is to disable the power trunk,

You press the button to disable, use the physical key to lock the glove box, hand the valet the fob keeping the physical key, and the trunk and glove box are secure and cannot be accessed.

Several here, myself included found when we took possession the hands free trunk wasn’t working and neither was the button on the dash, turns out the glove box button had been enabled thus disabling the power trunk. Very frustrating to say the least, luckily for me I had the same feature in my Lexus so a hunting I went, my Lexus the button was labeled, obvious, and visible, the Genesis not so much.
