3.3t RWD Prestige vs Sport

I will try to remember--I don't think I have taken any pics of interior yet. There are a lot of pics on-line. The grey is very light and it has a black trim on the seats. The quilting is also on the door panels.

And it looks as good in reality, I saw it last week at the dealer and it is that good that I am changing my mind from the Sport... that and the 10 spoke wheels that I found stunning and more "muscular" than the 5 spoke...

All ours so far have had dark/black interiors and being in Florida a lighter interior would be nice. Will have to see both in person....

Also going between 3.3 RWD Prestige vs Sport. Will probably just drive both and see if there’s a noticeable difference due to the suspension.

Hold on a sec, I know the US doesn't have Caramel Brown interior like we do, but don't you have the Cream or Velvet Burgundy available for the Prestige either?

I like that color too but I have 2 cars that are white with a brown interior, time for a change for me

I would not worry about that, all it takes is a bit of leather cleaner (Lexol is great), 15 minutes every 3 months and you keep your light seats like new.
My wife had a CX9 with light tan interior that we bought when my kids were born. We sold it after 6 years with the seats still looking like new. Leather is easy to clean. BTW black seats get dirty too, it just shows less but the grime is there
I never had a black interior since I really don't like the darkness and the lack of contrast (the G70 Sport is the first one that I am considering since the grey quilting and the black piping provides visual interest) but transporting young kids is not a factor for choosing the interior color since I know how easy it is to clean (and I am busy and don't find as much time as I would like to detail my cars)...

I'm gunning for a 3.3 Prestige Mallorca/Gray. The only annoyance is that there's no 10-spoke wheel/bigger tire option on AWD, you get saddled with the 20 spokes which look impossible to keep clean (although probably provide a better ride and more rim protection)

I went with AWD and thus have the 20 spoke wheels. Have only had it for one month--and I agree they look impossible to keep clean, but they are also darker so (to me) they do not look dirty.

I have a Design edition and it looks great in person. It looks like grey in some lighting conditions, and grey/green in others. Very handsome in my opinion.

In terms of interior, the carpet will take the most wear. I used the all-weather mats instead of the carpeted mats and that worked well for protecting the interior.

Has anyone seen a Design trim in person? Haven’t yet but like how it looks in pictures. Mostly wondering how the green exterior looks in the real world. Looks great online but you never know.

I love the cream, but it is a chore to keep clean. I've applied Meguiars leather seat care right away. Blue jeans can leave blue haze, but with proper care, will wipe right off. There is more of the cream in the Design than there is light gray in the Prestige. The Dark Forest Green (Nurburgring Green in Canada) is fabulous. But it's all a subjective to tastes. But the sunlight makes the color pop with deep greens, flake, and gray tones. Easy to keep clean.

Gorgeous interior. Really digging the light color. My 10 year old son would destroy the backseat though lol.

What I find interesting is the inclusion of the passenger seat controls there. I remember those were in some of the pictures I saw, but I didn't think they made it into production, or at least not for the North American variant. Is it just the design edition that gets these? The 3.3 Sport in Canada does not have those.

I wonder why it was omitted from the Canadian cars then. Some kind of specific safety regulation? I assumed it was removed for the 2020 MY when we picked it up, but I took a look at the 2019s, and they didn't have it either.

Yeah, I agree it's a nice feature, but I was asking why they omitted it from Canadian models.

I went with the Sports model. The adaptive suspension is so good. It truly feels like a sports car when the suspension stiffens. I'm going to up grade the rear sway bar for better performance. And also like the wheels better than prestige package. It's a beautiful car.

It was likely deemed to be not as important for the Canadian market so it got dropped to keep the price levels where they are currently at. It would be nice to have it but its absence is not a dealbreaker by any means.
