Muffler delete on a 2012 3.8l?

Ive owned my car for a bout 4 months now and I want to get a full exhaust with cutouts but I don't have the money yet. Thinking about doing a muffler delete in the mean time. Should I go ahead and do the delete or just save for that exhaust.

What did you end up deciding? I am thinking about just removing the rear mufflers, but I would like opinions on the drone and volume.

I have a muffler delete on mine. It sounds pretty good, it's not too loud unless you smash on it.
Im thinking about doing the resonator delete bc I've had the mufflers off almost a year now.

So you just took the complete mufflers out and made it straight pipe? Sorry I'm kind of new. Does it sound nice though or is it just really loud and raspy. Dont want tickets lol

Yeah it's not too loud unless you smash in it. My dumbass got caught not too long ago for going fast.

I just deleted my mufflers this week and it seems pretty easy to control the volume. I do love the ability to step on it when a WRX is next to me, asking for a highway pull hahah
