  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, I've done a lot of searching and no one in the first gen world really has posted much about this. But what is the best brand of LED headlight bulbs to use for our car??

The few posts that mention it the OP just paid someone and has no idea what was installed. Places like K.A.I have their “kits” but they give you zero brand or product info. They even e-mailed me and when i asked this info they have been a ghost town ever since. Plus it seems as tho the best brands out there are around $100 a set, places offering $150 for the high, low and fog together screams “shit china lights” to me..

From what i have found it appears this Hikari brand is about as good as it gets for LED conversions (Japanese) Anyone have experience??

Plus bexause of the factory halogen with projector design should i just convert to HID for the low beams and go LED for everything else? I want the ugly halogen color gone but i also want improved lighting as well..

Every light on my 14 has been replaced with LED’s except the headlights..Any experience is appreciated.20636

Nobody has any advice on upgrading the crap halogens or experience with LED brand??

If your low beams are projector housing with halogen bulb I would probably convert to HID bulbs.

I have been running Hikari and Lasfit for the past 4 years. The customer support, light output with no glare has been great. LED @ 5.5k has been good. Just make sure your lenses are very CLEAN. You will notice a huge difference.
