  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I decided the plain rubber pedals weren't going to cut it any more. Cue the metal pedals. I haven't yet found a metal dead foot that matches and will fit.

But anyways these were a $50 eBay purchase, the 2017-18 G80 accelerator pedal works just fine in my 2015. It actually has a better press too.

I upgraded my plain rubber pedals for the stock 2017+ sport pedals as well.

Here are the part numbers

Looks amazing. Now if only we could get footwell lighting while in drive.

How was the install? Are they just covers?

The brake pedal just replaces the rubber cover. Install easy, clip from bottom and press over the top.

The gas pedal replaces the entire assembly, two nuts come off and one wiring connector. Takes about 5 minutes. The new pedal has better travel and kickdown switch feel than the original.

You may be right about the kick-down and acceleration being a tad more responsive with the 2017+ sport pedal accelerator module. I only accelerated fairly hard once in ECO mode with the new pedals and the response was fairly good and linear. I did not have the Sprint Booster activated at the time.

I believe that the newer sport accelerator module have a more aggressive calibration(voltage output) than the older stock accelerator module that was provided in 2015.

My install was the same as yours.
