  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Sightings?

He is failing to mention our liberal blue state 9% state income tax. They just get it another way. But if you buy a lot of cars it sure is nice not having one.

I know that pain all too well in California. Plus the 8% - 9.25% sales tax in Los Angeles and Orange County :suicide:

I have now had my G70 for exactly two months. I live close to Washington, DC. I am really surprised that in two months I have not seen another G70. What is your experience?
I have seen none, other than on dealer lots.

Haven't spotted a single one in the wild here in NC.

So many in my city now that I have noticed in the past 2 weeks that I have lost count. They are all 2.0T and the only V6 is my neighbour's car.
After seeing how many showed up at the event over the weekend at the airport, seems like this car is very popular at least in the GTA and surrounding area!

Still have seen none. All I see are people in parking lots standing around looking at mine !

I saw a 3.3t MB (prestige, I think) in the morning on Friday in Newport Beach and an 3.3t SI Sport in the evening in Huntington Beach. I probably should have bought a lottery ticket that day because it felt like I found unicorns

I will say, it felt pretty cool driving 2 G70's (for a few minutes) side by side down PCH

Same here.

Supposedly there is another owner nearby but I have yet to see it. Probably all a lie.

😉

I have not seen one either. I did see a G80--perhaps--it was heavily modified--sufficiently modified that I looked twice (and 2-tone paint scheme)-- this past weekend.
I have mixed emotions--I want to be unique (and really like my car) but also am excited for if/when I see one.

Most of the ones in Houston are sitting on dealer lots. Don't seem to be selling all that well.

I have yet to see any G70 's around the Orlando area and I love it! I have always driven somewhat rare cars that you don't often see on the road. I had a 2005 Pontiac GTO and then my 2015 Hyundai Azera Limited before the G70. I could go months without seeing another GTO or Azera.

Queens/Long Island area, I've seen two in the wild, one white and one black, and I'm pretty sure both were 2.0 AWD's.

In the less than three weeks I've had the car I've gotten a lot of comments and a hell of a lot of looks. I think half of that is the Mallorca Blue.

I've only seen two G70s in the wild around DC. One was in Siberian Ice and it made me turn my head, even though I knew what I was looking at.

5-weeks of ownership, I think, zero sightings in the wild. SF Bay Area

Hey msharp I live in N. Va. And have an SI 3.3. Maybe it was me!

Haha maybe, this was way up in Tenleytown. Where do you live so I can steal your car and keep it as my own?
