  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this, I’m new to the forum.

I’ve been trying to work out how to turn on the turn by turn mode on the instrument cluster and HUD, but can’t seem to work it out. I can see the window on the instrument cluster but it has the power icon and I can’t seem to toggle the feature. I can also toggle the feature on and off in the HUD settings but it doesn’t actually seem to do anything.

Any help is appreciated.

All you should have to do is check the box on the settings. Once you do, the next turn should appear on the upper right portion of the HUD display. If that is not working, probably best to check with a dealer unless others here have a solution.

Hi, I’m wondering if this issue has been resolved through the dealer or otherwise. Keen to know the root cause.
Thanks in advance.

Please don't be offended, but I want to make sure we don't miss any steps here. In addition to checking the box for the feature, are you also using the GPS for a destination? The turn-by-turn feature isn't a "limited" version of a map where it will constantly inform you of upcoming roads. It only works when you have set a destination in the GPS.

Once again, just trying to make sure we cover all the bases. Personally, I still can't figure out how to download songs to the damned Jukebox!!!

Hi JDixon,
Not offended at all. I have unticked the option, restarted the car, re-ticked it, double checked it’s still ticked, set a random destination and set sail. Still nothing.
All the ducks seem to be in line...

Also ran the issue by my local dealership 8 or so months ago and it stumped both the Service Manager and Head Mechanic.

I’m starting to think it doesn’t work on Australian models much like the Lane Keeping Assist.

Okay, that was my only suggestion. Good luck finding the cause. I hope the feature is available to you.

Did you manage to resolve this?
I have the same issue on an New Zealand model.
