Selling a set of Quick Time Performance (QTP) Screamer mufflers with built-in electric exhaust cutout, that I had mounted on my 2018 G80 Sport. The QTP model is 13252C, and more details can be found on the manufacturer's website HERE. This is the short-case version of the system, as the long-case version does not fit the G80. This is essentially a muffler system that incorporates an electric cutout at the very back end of the muffler. The cutouts can be set anywhere from fully open to fully closed to anywhere in between. I am assuming these will also fit the G80 V8 5.0, but you would have to confirm for yourself.
The mufflers were mounted by my exhaust shop; all of the piping has been bent/aligned, so all the hard work has been done and it should be a relatively easy weld job to install on your car.
I am selling this muffler because quite simply it did not pass the "wife test". If you are looking for a relatively quiet, subtle exhaust (even at the quietest setting), then this muffler system is not for you. It is pretty loud with the cutouts fully closed, and absolutely screams with the cutouts fully open. I loved it, but unfortunately the wife did not.
The system is essentially new; I had them mounted for a maximum of 75 miles before I had them removed and went back to stock. My loss is your gain!
Paid $675 plus another $200 for pipe bends/installation. I am asking $450. I'd prefer to sell locally in Southern California, but am willing to ship if necessary.
