  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am thinking of wrapping the chrome on the doors (trim and handles), the boomerang and the mirrors. I’m thinking gloss black for the window surround and probably mirrors...and matte black for the handles (less visible fingerprints).

Any feedback or options would be really appreciated. I’m think all gloss black is the best for consistency but not sure??

Ideas?

Any way you can do something in-between, like a satin finish and just wrap them all the same?

I think Satin black would look great. Have you thought about wrapping the roof too? I love white cars with black roofs :)

I’ve decided to do carbon fiber wrap on the handles, boomerang, window trim and mirrors, as well as the roof. I think it will look good

Make sure they make sure the direction of the "weave" matches. It'd be pretty funny looking if your door handles didn't match

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Keep us posted! Are you going to do something to the grill as well? I'd imagine a wrap on that is impossible

Finally finished the handles and done with the front emblem.. Next are the rear emblem and boomerangs.

Well done! It looks really good. How was wrapping the door handles? They seem like they'd be difficult to avoid any creases.

It was a struggle. You need a lot of patience(and YouTube). I worked through it though after a few ‘trial runs’ lol

I didn't actually expect it to look this good. Well done!

Maybe you already covered this but did you have to remove the door handles? How long did it take to do them?

Thanks!

I did remove the door handles (huge thanks to @Toddasauraus)...initially started with the handle on the car but the back was impossible to cut. The first handle took almost 3 hours...trial and error and I’m a perfectionist...total for all 4 was about 6-7 hours. First time wrapping

Looks really good dude!

Some ideas should you want them: Wrap the mirror housings to match. Possibly add dark (gunmetal or black) wheels as well. I think you'll end up with a very classy "panda" look

I’m still going to be wrapping the boomerangs, the window trim and the mirrors. Also thinking of finishing the roof. Then I’m going to be smoking the head and tail lights
