  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

Hey all, I recently stumbled on this forum in researching a purchase of a 2019 G70 3.3 AWD.

I find myself in a little bit of a predicament in that I have to buy something before the months end as I do not want to sink any more money into repairs of an old car in order to pass inspection.

I saw a few references to "Circle A" discounts but could not find any other information other than to keep continually posting and somehow the info will be sent to you.

However, as I said, I'm on somewhat of a time crunch here. I can assure you that I am indeed very real and very interested in making this purchase bit obviously would like to obtain the best deal possible.

Would anyone be as so kind to help me out with this? It would greatly be appreciated.

I'm new here as well. Going back through the older pages of this thread it sounds like you can private message someone after you post 16 messages and give the website about 24 hours to update your privileges. Just keep posting and you should be able to PM R_Spec about the Circle A discount.

Welcome to the forum. That was an urban myth. ;) Turns out there is no specific number of posts or timeframe in order to be able to PM. The systems uses an algorithm to determine a poster is not a spammer and then grants the ability. The posts and timeframe varies depending on different factors.

Finance, but I'd be open to a lease if it wound up being a better deal after all is said and done, knowing that I'd buy out the lease at the end of the term.
There are example circle A certificates posted on this forum to give you idea of pricing. I have also seen postings some have negotiated same or similar pricing without a certificate. Bluff the dealer you have one coming and see if they will work up some numbers and include all the valid incentives that are typically posted on Edmunds. If the dealer will do this and then afterwards you tell them your having problems getting the certificate and it may take a few days more, the dealer is not going to want you to leave and risk a lost sale. May work or may not but won’t hurt trying. When I bought my wife’s Mazda, I normally have access to Mazda S-plan pricing (similar to invoice) back when Ford owned a portion of Mazda. Ford no longer owns part of Mazda so obtaining a PIN number from the web site was problematic. I told the Mazda dealer I had access to S-plan pricing so they wrote up that pricing. I then told them I needed to contact Mazda directly for the organization I belong to that offers these special price plans still indicated a Mazda PIN was possible so it may be a few days. Dealer said no worries, gave me the S-plan pricing and we did the deal that day. They did not want me to leave the building.

Adding on to the post above, if you let me know what trim of the 3.3 AWD you are looking at I can get you the pricing for one so you have a target.

Ah darn, I guess I'll just have to keep posting then. Thanks for clarifying the "Urban Myth".

Better yet...gimme a VIN. I can pretty much tell you your discount.

If you'd be so kind, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking for an AWD 3.3t Advanced base model. This VIN is pretty much exactly what I'd want except maybe for the grey interior.

For some reason I'm not seeing Shaumburg showing any vehicles for Circle pricing, it could be they don't participate. Here is one at another dealer.

Thanks so much! It's certainly possible they don't participate. They never seem to have many Genesis on the lot, they seem like of one the dealers that would prefer to stay only a Hyundai dealer.

They most certainly do participate.

Here is your exact car with the discount. Remember...you should be able to negotiate other discounts along with this !! Good luck.

Thank you very much. Quick question, do these things have an expiration date? Being halfway through August I'm tempted to hold off for two weeks to see if the lease incentives go up at all in September.

Thank you. Ideally I'd like to get the 3.3TT AWD with Sport Package.

Once you get a certificate from @r_spec i think it’s good for a month or two.

In my experience the Circle A certificates expire at the end of each promotion period which is around a month, more or less. It is a published date. When new promotions are announced the previous certificate is moot because numbers may change, though with the PIN for the certificate one may be able to create another. Not sure about that though.

Is this vehicle at Patrick? If you go through this forum you'll see why you may be better off avoiding this dealership.

Yeah that's at Patrick in Schaumburg. I went there last week to test drive a V6 G70 because I work like 5 minutes away. My experience was genuinely awful in about every way possible. I'll definitely be trying out other dealerships in the area for an actual purchase.
