  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My digital and analog clocks are not working. The digital show blank:blank and the analog shows the wrong time. the clock controls are grayed out on the screen (yes I was parked and had the audio off). Any one know what might be wrong. No other issues with the display system. Maps are working.

I have the same problem started today aswell help

Mine stopped working this morning as well-

Mine had the wrong time starting yesterday (digital and analog). Today I have dashes instead of time on the digital and the analog clock is still wrong. How is that at least 4 of us have the same problem at the same time?

Weird- I just got on to another Hyundai forum with various models and this seems to be a common issue- all taking place today?!

We noted the same today. I disconnected the battery for 20 seconds - nothing changed (they have some battery backup or capacitors to keep data).

I'm sure someone will come up with a valid conspiracy theory !!

US navy is testing GPS denial systems.

Hyundai doesn't use jam-resistant GPS modules so their timing information is being scrambled. You can most likely still navigate with a significant reduction in accuracy.

Maybe I'll try and figure out which fuse to pull to reset. Any thoughts here?

I’m experiencing the same issue......

In the Charlotte, NC area and clocks are working fine. If others would give their general location it may show a pattern. So far, it looks like Florida only. SO if you want your clock to work, a move is the only fix.

SOLUTION:

There are 11 pages of instructions for the multitude of fuse boxes throughout the car. From the IMs I concluded that the multimedia system controls the clock. I've unfortunately learned that nowadays every thing is microprocessor based (i.e. some kind of computer), so generally a solution will be to 'reboot' the micro-processor. Pages 7-66 and 7-77 denote the Instrument panel fuse panel. The 20 Amp 'multimedia' fuse on this panel did the trick. I unplugged it for about 20 seconds, plugged it back in and the clock restored display, with the 'analog' clock quickly spinning into position. For my 2015 car, its the fuse panel to the left of the steering column, yellow (20A) fuse in 3rd column counting from the left, 2nd fuse down.

Let's hope is doesn't go haywire again.

I'm having the problems and I'm located in California.

Check both at 11am, 2015 with original 8.5 map and Apple update, reset to time 7am and back to DST.
2016 did not reset but forced to do so, by switch to manual then back to GPS, it moved forward to to 4pm (UTC) and back to DST.

It could be something like that, though they say April others may have a different time
Actually the article says “the impact won’t necessarily be felt on rollover day itself. In fact, it’s much more likely that an affected receiver won’t start outputting erroneous data until long after the 6 April 2019.”

Might be interesting to note that is 132 days after April the 6th
