  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Others have had this UV coating failure and have had them fixed under warranty.

Went by Hyunda dealership in my city we don’t have a Genesis one... looked at them said yea Coating failure I asked about getting an oil change done at the same time said be here Thursday at 10am... let’s see how it goes I’m thinking an hour for the headlights and an hour for the oil change good thing I can work remote
wonder what the cost of the head lights will be to Hyundai USA

Both of my headlight assemblies were replaced 2 months ago under warranty - you'll be good.
2016 - 35k miles

I just picked up a 2015 CPO 3.8 RWD Ultimate and noticed the same clear coat failing on my lights. I mentioned it to the sales person when I inspecting the car but he seemed to be under the impression that it wouldn't be replaced under warranty. The car only had a tick over 37K miles on it, so hoping they will be replaced after reading the previous posts.

Must report all went well no issues replaced under warranty got an oil change at the same time... Tech did the multi point inspection rear pads were almost 10mm front pads were 3mm with some rotor anomaly's they of course showed me the pads with a gauge. The service Manager warranted the rotors he felt the anomaly's caused the pads to wear faster (49K on the car) said Hyundai considers pads a consumable item, so he had me pay for the pads. figured I have a complete service done fuel system clean, air filter and cabin also. tires rotated and such walked out spending lil over $400.00 dollars but the car is awesome as usual..

I'm quite thankful to you for posting this. My lights are much worse than yours. I'll get the ball rolling on this being a warranty issue.

For those getting lights replaced under warranty, I'd highly recommend getting the new sets wrapped in PPF for added uv and impact protection. Xpel film is one of the best around
