  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2015 5.0 with <50k miles has sprung a leak. I thought the oil I found on the ground must be my old 911 leaking. That car was dry so I took a look under my Genesis and found the differential wet / dripping. I am dropping it off tomorrow as it should be under warranty. Has anyone else had this happen?

please let us know what was the problem.

They took a look and think it was the seal on the drain plug had deteriorated (they replaced it). We will see if it keeps leaking, I am not too worried the dealer is easy to work with.

It is a relief to find a decent service dept...

I had a weird prob with my AC that I had apparently cured by removing & reinserting the appropriate fuses. I went ahead & kept the appointment @ the dealership anyway. The guy sat in the car & went through the functions and said, they could plug it in but unless it wasn't working, they wouldn't find anything and didn't want to waste my money & my time.

There's lots of dealer shops that would have just taken it in anyway, charge a hour, then tell you it was fine. I appreciated the honesty and know I can go back there, if needed.

The problem is that GDS can find the history faults in these modules that are useful for diagnosis. Saying that there's nothing to find isn't necessarily true.

Yeah. I suppose that can also be the case.
