  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone
I bought 2016 genesis sedan last month and now I have a problem. Power steering light and LKAS and pre collision warning light are on and I took it to the Hyundai dealership and he showed me that one of the wiring harnesses that it goes to the power steering module is broken. My car has 40000 miles and still under manufacture warranty but the service advisor told me that is not covered and I have to pay 700$ out of my pocket. My question is anybody knows is it under bumper to bumper warranty or I have to pay out of my pocket? By the way I have ally major guard extended warranty

I'd def check with the extended warranty company

Yes I will contact them, but at Hyundai dealership, service advisor told me that they are not gonna cover it either. I’m trying to take it to my friend’s shop and he is going to contact the ally.

Not enough information. Is the wiring defective or was the break caused by something on the car? Is the wire broken because it was chewed by a rodent? A third party accessory? Once the cause is determined you can check it against the terms of the warranty.
