  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

IF you can read the November issue of "Automobile", there's an interest article in test driving a Genesis in Korea. Sounds like fun and IF Genesis offered a factory pickup, I might be interested in doing so and then shipping my car back to the US (similar to Volvo or Mercedes factory deals). You can also read this article on line IF you subscribe to Apple News + ($10 a month for a sea of magazines).

I would copy/paste the article here except there may be a restriction with copywirte in doing so. AFAIK, the link doesn't work unless you're a + subscriber. While I don't know for sure, there may be a free tryout of Apple News +.

That would be a fun experience, friend of
Mine did the same thing at BMW(?) and had a blast.

I had a friend who honeymooned in Germany and bought a Mercedes sportster and drove it for 2-3 weeks. Shipped it home as a "used" car. Plan was to drive it a bit here then sell it and pay for the honeymoon trip. Waited for the call at his home here in Charlotte NC. Wilmington is the NC state port. His call came to be ready to take delivery tomorrow at Wilmington...Delaware.
If you knew JD this would all make perfect sense.

Good thing he does not live in Rome NY.

I thought Genesis is heck a lot more expensive in Korea? Aren't they facing lawsuits or something because it costs like $20k more to buy one in Korea?
