In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Anyone seen or like the Marrakesh Beige? I'm in Phoenix and don't want a dark car. White is fine, but I was thinking this Marrakesh is kind of different but not in an unpopular way.

I saw it at the dealer and I'm sorry to say it was probably my least favorite of the colors I've seen on the 2015s. But my opinion honestly means diddly; if you like it then that's what counts! As a Houston resident (which is cooler than Phoenix by about 15 degrees on a hot summer day), I can certainly why in Phoenix you'd want a lighter color.

I'm in Phoenix also ... have a white with gray interior ... it's perfect.

A dealership near me has two of them. Beige is not usually a color that people get excited about but the Marrakesh Beige looks very good in my opinion. And there are none on the road in case you like something different. If I lived in Phoenix I would go with white or beige. The G looks especially good in white but don't write off the beige unless you see one in person. You will be pleasantly surprised

I thought there was a law that all vehicles, houses, and clothes in the SouthWest had to be some shade of brown.

I saw it at the dealer and thought it looked very good. They had a manhattan brown, but it was so dark as to appear black. I would have been happy with white, but thought the Marrakash looked more elegant. The stark white against the black glass roof was nice, but it drew attention to the roof.

I got the beige inside and it all flows very well. Mine has sig and tech packages.

This was the first color when I went to th dealership. I would say I fell in love with the color since it was different from the other "beige" I see around and I believe there are just few production on this color. Other than that I still went to the one I love, the Parisian Gray.

curious, what Phoenix dealership did you buy from? I didn't see anything but white, black and gray.

After owning several different gray/silver cars, brown cars, blue cars, red cars and green cars, I wanted something different. When I saw the Marrakesh Beige for the first time in the sunlight at a dealer I was hooked. It is different from the usual gold-like color you see on other cars. It is creamy smooth - more like a tinted pearl color.

So I traded in my Audi A6 and bought a 3.8 AWL ultimate beige on beige. The interior is a distinctly different color of beige and helps to add some contrast.

My first choice was Marrekesh Beige, but a hard color to find in the ultimate package here in Phoenix as was the Ibiza Blue, my second choice. I'm very happy with my second choice.

Not my favorite color. Reminded me of a Buick. Check of Montecito Blue if you have one in your area. Hard to find in a 5.0 Ultimate here in South Florida.

I special ordered my 2015 Genesis directly through the Sales Manager at Hyundai USA in California just to get Marrakech Beige. I searched literally every dealer inventory in the US and it was not available. I hate to wait almost three months for delivery but I don't regret my decision for a minute. For months I had the only Marrakech Beige Genesis in Montgomery, Alabama - possibly all of Alabama. One thing I didn't know when I bought it is that it actually looks gold in bright sunlight but silver in dim or artificial light! Cool!

The way Houston's been lately, it might as well be Phoenix (except for the swamp ass humidity)!

I actually wanted a white on tan car (really wanted Ibiza Blue on white - but couldn't find one w/ desired options) but wife hates white for some reason.... There was someone that just got a Marrakesh 5.0 recently and it looked pretty good. Never actually seen one though. The 1st 5.0 that I drove was Manhattan Brown on tan which looked better than you would think.

If you don't want silver - the Empire State Gray is a good color. I like mine. A little richer than silver, but not too dark. Just my 2 cents.

Love that Empire State Gray, as I've mentioned our here before. May even prefer it to the Ibiza I have, but not complaining. Just never really been a fan of Beige or Brown (some do catch the eye) - think it has to do with my Dad having had many of those growing up, a very 70's kinda color. I have seen them popping up more in recent years though. It's good we have options, there's something for everyone's tastes.

Hah! My Dad did the same thing in the 70's - for a while, every car was metallic brown!

I’m here in Phx. And love our Ibiza Blue, and not stupid enough to put my hand on it outside. Lol
Actually had they had a Ultimate in Empire Grey probably woulda chosen that. It’s just that elegant looking.

Yeah - really wanted an Ibiza Blue. But I've come to love the Empire State Grey. With the tint it looks pretty awesome - a friend calls it The Korean Mafia Staff Car...

I love my Ibiza, but that Empire still grabs me. Maybe we should trade, Skip? :p

Oddly, I don't see many of either in my area, mainly Whites, Reds and a Brown I pass fairly often.

A top contender for the wheels I'm considering showcases them on an Empire Genny and the photos keep me inspired for both the wheels and the color: Blaque Diamond BD-21 | Hyundai Genesis.
Their pro photography really reflects the beauty of the metallic in the paint.

I figure those will 'pop' on my Blue as well, but have a few other options in mind too. Stay tuned, whatever I choose will be coming after the first of the year.

Don't know if you would want my car... it just clicked over 70k. Bought it @ 64k. Don't ordinarily buy stuff with those kind of miles but they were claimed to be mostly highway - plausible as this is Texas, where distances are measured in hours not miles (confirmed by me before purchase by checking out previous destinations in the NAV) and it was in great shape with lots of maintenance records, professional tint and a newish set of Bridgestones (no curb rash). Even smelled new. I figured $20,500 out the door for an Ultimate 5.0 was a steal. It was at a nearby Mercedes/Aston Martin dealership and had been traded. I had kept an eye on it for a while (~ 2 months) and it just wasn't moving. It started out @ just under $24k. After I made the deal, the guy confessed to me that I had been the only one to drive it.

See a lot of white, silver, black and one red here. I do see an ESG around but it's a 3.8. I'm not a fan of the silver, white makes it look bigger than it is, black is just too tough to keep clean and red isn't my thing.

Those rims look really cool though - but I'd be afraid of 20's in Houston, our roads really suck. They could use some streets to test a new Lunar Rover...

Seems like you got a pretty solid deal, even with the miles. At that type of dealership, I'd have been comfortable with the previous owner as well. Odds are your timing was good, as only someone looking for a Genny would have found her there.

I haven't yet driven a 5.0 but from all the talk out here, I'd wished I had. But in the end, figured the 3.8 was enough and more mileage conscious, so will ride this one out for a bit.

Still needing to do tint and the new shoes, but luckily the roads down this way aren't too bad for the most part, although I have done-in a rim or two over the years.
