Jacking Points

I purchased new wheels and tires and would like to use a floor jack to lift the front then the rear two. Are there spots that can accept a low profile floor jack to lift two wheels at a time?

Not too sure , if you find one let us know. It sucks doing 1 side at a time

Even if I could use the floor jack on each corner instead of the trunk jack. That would help.

There is a jacking label. You should be able to use the same locations as the supplied jacks. The manual shows spots just in back of the front tire and just ahead of the back tire. I've jacked other cars in those same spots.

I have a 2015 5.0 and I use the lip underneath ,you can call it a body seem . I want to say it is about 4 inches away from where the lip or begins or ends depending on if you are towards the front or rear of car. Front and back are the same. I Can shot you a pic in about 4 hours if tha th will help?

That is where the dealer showed me. Said spot seems to be a little thicker .

Thank you for that information. In order to use a floor jack, I would have to have some sort of butterfly puck to keep from bending the spine of the jack point. Is that true?

I use a floor jack with a cross beam adapter on my cars including my heavy Escalade.

You could probably do the rear using the rear diff? Not sure about the front but on my previous cars, I just use a suspension joint on one side of the car.

That'll be interesting. I look forward to seeing those on as I've been wondering just how good a Mesh design will look on a Genny. I've come across a few that I've taken into consideration, but have looked at so many wheels over the past several months and am slowly narrowing down my choices, but will definitely be going Staggered and most likely 20's. I liked what DM2015GENE did with 21's on his, but the selection is extremely limited in that size and would have to up the tire size to maintain some semblance of ride quality - not something I prefer doing other than slightly.

Admittedly, I don't know on the Genesis at all, but it is an independent rear suspension, right? My other cars with IRS have this stern warning in the service manual. "CAUTION: Under no circumstances should the vehicle ever be lifted by the front control arms, front I-braces, suspension arm brackets, rear stabilizer or differential housing. Severe damage to the vehicle could result. "

I use a 16" long piece of 2x4 wood on the body pinch seam to spread the load out, similar to the load spreader, but cheaper and works just as well if used correctly.
