New Kid : 15 Genesis 3.8 Sedan

Hello I am a new Hyundai Genesis owner 2015 Sedan 3.8L. I got the car with 43K miles but 2 things. the AC was out, new compressor installed and the works fine but car seem to run a little rough when the ac is on or off. Then the BlueLink ? Backup Cam is inoperable and I'm told there's an interface issue with the radio, so radio unit being replaced. Any takes on these issues or are they warnings of what's to come?????

Welcome to the group. There have been some radio issues with the 2015 but since they are replacing it, you should be good. Make sure they give you the latest update on navigation too. Don't know what to tell you on the AC. I've had other cars with a rough idle when the compressor kicked in but not on my Hyundai Genesis or G80. At least bring it up with the dealer.

Overall your car should give you many miles of good service. It has goodies galore so enjoy them.

Thanks, I purchased it and it sat for 30 days waiting for the AC compressor, had it home a total of 4 days took it back for vibration in the entire car. They replaced all tires brand new and road forced... so far so GOOD knock on Hyundai WOOD... Love the car, the tech is better than my old 7 Series BMW. I'll be looking for you, you have a lot of knowledge from my initial readings today becoming a forum member. Godspeed and thanks again!

A tire called GEOTOUR made by or offspring of SUMITOMO, never heard of them and told my wife I'm going to purchase either goodyear or michelin... theses unknowns scare me especially when the wife will be driving it most.

You'd be correct, except for Goodyears. Minus the ContiPro Contact, Continental has other better choices....

Car sold too much drama.... got a G90 now. Similar tire thing but found out add more pressure, vibration goes away.

Also run premium gas... Although they say that it'll run regular just fine, I don't buy it - especially on a high compression engine.

Tires were purchased by the dealer as they would say a courtesy but I informed them that my down payment to a notable dealership was not a courtesy and that I expected a better solution or the car could be bought back by them quickly. However the dramatics continued with an awful smell coming through the vents and after 10 months of their nonsense, I sold the car and bought a New Genesis G90. something with the tires i found out. correct pressure is Key all though the tire monitoring systems say one thing, 2 psi make a car ride wonderful!
