  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Jacking Points

I use a floor jack with a cross beam adapter on my cars including my heavy Escalade.

where are the cross beam feet planted in the example for the Genesis? on the plastic rocker panel?
If the body seam, how are you not deforming it?

Remember to post pics when you're done!

Get a cheap hockey puck and cut a slot across one side to accommodate the body seam. It will fit in the cup of the floor jack and protect the car.

The cross beam feet has rubber pads that are wide so that they disperse the force across the pinch rails so that they do not deform.

Wow! I would have been nervous, waiting for a crunch! I'll have to order one of these and give it a try....

Looking Sharp, HiLandR!

The mesh style wheels look much better than I thought they would in my mind, and the silver offsets beautifully on that shiny Caspian Black. Very nice job. 👍

Are they 19 or 20's and what rubber did you go with?

Nice. Looks exactly like what I'm planning, although investigating if 9" front/10.5" rear with a higher offset would work too, and still deciding on the wheels.
