  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

During the break-in period, about 600-700 miles, I've noted that stuff that didn't work initially at the time of setting, started to work after a while. Like, for instance: radio didn't lower when on phone, coasting when in Eco, etc. Last night I fiddled a bit with the sound levels (nav, guidance, voice, etc) and this morning the radio didn't lower it volume when on the phone. However, without my doing anything later on, the radio lowered when on the phone??? Is this car just quirky, or should I stop fiddling?

like any computer, Im sure there will be unexplained glitches that we cant give you a root cause on. These are usually things that happen once or twice, never to be seen again or are fixed by a quick power cycle. In my opinion, without being there and watching exactly what you do I wouldnt be able to troubleshoot whats happening. As far as I know, every function of the car is turned on and working from day 1 and does not require a certain number of miles or time requirement to do what it needs to do. If it helps, Ive had my own fair share of glitches concerning the nav and my phone. If it doesnt keep happening, and doesnt have a big effect on what I need to do, I write it off as just another computer glitch, no big deal.

It's not that I'm upset over these random occurrences, but rather I just like to know it's not me and an explanation why. Nonetheless, I don't loose sleep over these issues and I do really love the car's wonderful performance. It is truly a fun car to drive.
