I guess I’m being a little harsh but I stand by it. I can tell that’s plastic easily. There are certain aesthetic choices I don’t judge but this is putting a paper bag on a beautiful model, just wrong.I lol'd at your response to the picture he posted. Personally, I could barely even tell they were there. Haha.
Maybe some of these guys need curb feelers. A lot of people put them on so as not to scrape the whitewall tires.The 360° camera in the G80 is a nice way of making sure I never do.. but haven't ever done it on any car I've owned in 35 years, touching wood as I say that...

Curb Feelers! What a memory! And steering wheel spinners:
Steering Wheel Spinner Knob, Plastic Cap
Put one on your wheel and insert a photo of a pretty girl in the knob.
In the 50's feelers were used to protect the body of the car not so much the wheels:
