If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi my amplifier blew. I have no idea why I've been looking for 93670 - b1100 Lexicon amplifier can't find it anywhere in the country except brand new which costs between $1,300-$2000. Does anyone know of an aftermarket that will fit this car? 2015 3.8 L 4-door. 17 speaker

First, make sure you're number is right, your post should state 96370-B1000, but I'd guess that was simply a typo.

A quick Google search gave me a handful including the two below: (price range of $311.52-$340.16)

Amplifier - Hyundai (96370-B1000) | World OEM Parts Hyundai

2015-2016 Hyundai Genesis Amplifier 96370-B1000 | hyundaiparts

And here's the search: 96370-B1000 - Google Search
Click stores on the right and voila...the world is your oyster lol.

You may also want to check all your local parts yards as you may get one on the cheap, but the google numbers don't look too bad. eBay would be another option.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to respond. But 93670-B1100 is correct. The others...b1000 and b1050 are not for my car. They are previous generations

Sorry, I was referring to the first 5 digits, you have 93670 when it should be 96370. And my bad on the B1000, which should have been B1100.

But yep, you were correct that the cheapest coming up is ~$1200 unless you find a U-Pull-It or a local junkyard that has one lying around.

Another option is check your local Car Audio shop and see if they can recommend something to replace, but haven't seen anything out here yet that's been recommended.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. 96370-B1100. I've called all around several states for used ones and have not found one yet. Called a car audio shop who told me that there's no replacement/after market amp for this car. He also said this amp is known to have issues. Read a thread where someone had the same issue with a 2017 5.0. This is something to consider if someone wants to stay in the Genesis family.

Interesting, but now it makes sense that the repair service exists. And had a feeling there was no other option with outside components, short of going completely custom. This is one of those issues that require patience (and luck) in the hope of finding one that comes available cheaply, or just bite the bullet on the repair. Sorry, Kav...keep us posted.

Apparently it's a common problem. If enough people complain the Hyundai. They would possibly recall them. I've been looking for the same amp for a while myself.

Kavery,
Did you ever find out if there are others with this problem and how many there would need to be before they would do a recall on it. It’s ridiculous to have to pay almost $700 on something that to them cost hardly nothing. And it’s such an inconvenience. Let me know. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. The amp blew and I've taken it to a car audio shop who removed it and wanted to charge me $1700 for a new one. I declined and then they offered to repair it for $750. Repair time is estimated at 3-5 weeks. I declined that too and am still looking. They explained that the signal from the receiver to the amplifier is using fiber optics and that's why it's so expensive to repair. Please let me know if you find a better option.

I did a search on car-part.com. Results show this place has a B1100: Motor Trust Inc. FL(Miami) 786-713-8322 / 305-200-5142

No price shown.

Same here! Smh. I was looking earlier this year and the only thing I came up with was the brand new...prices at $1800.00 PLUS labor. It’s crazy that they would make getting a simple amp this complicated.

I wish I had better info for you, but the best deal I could find was on Ebay. After you ship them your amp, they will repair it and return it to you with the updated firmware ($550). Hope this helps.
