Spare 13.5 sd card update

I wonder if the Samsung SD card serial number can be changed using the same method that was used on the Samsung Galaxy S5 containing the Samsung eMMC. Zape has successfully done it with a Samsung EVO Micro SD card. According to videos and my research, that particular card may be the only one capable of having it's serial changed. Zape would be the subject matter expert as far as I know.

So, I was able to change the VolumeID and the UNIQUEID DISK numbers to match the master card. Still no luck.

I just upgraded to 13.5 . I lost my 2 back up camera settings. Normal view/top view. Only have normal view now. Is that normal? 15 5.0

I still have both views after 13.5 update. I would update again.

All very good ideas, However I am only ignorant to the electronics side of things. I honestly do not know how to update the nav system again.

Nor do I; I don't know if it can be made to re-read and install again through the setup menu. Original install you just inserted the card.

I also noted that the sound system is not as loud and lost some bass after the install/upgrade. I will call mapnsoft monday, see if they have any answers ! Thanks once again Edp ,I value your knowledge about this vehicle and its components.

Perhaps someone had already done it. The original update is just inserting the new car. If you go to the setup menu, then System Info there is an update option. If you click on it you then confirm and it starts.

I did not restart it as I did not want to take a half hour, but worth checking out.

Yes I will check it out. I was just in the system and came across a system reset feature. Did not press it,not sure what gets reset ? I will keep at it, I going to do what you had just explained to me, and see what happens. I have been reading owners manual but nothing so far. Thanks for help!✌

It is in the update process now,I screwed up and left the CD in the unit. Hope that does not mess it up? Computers and I dont work well together!

CD should not cause any issues.
