Pretty straightforward.. Just as the title states, I am two weeks in to ownership of my 2015 Genesis 3.8 HTrac W/ both the Ultimate & Tech Package and I have zero sound coming from my speakers.
Happened on the freeway, while really trying to enjoy my 17 Speaker surround sound stereo and listening to music at about 28-30 on the volume level it just ut cut out. I believe it may of stuttered one or twice before fully going as if the amp was going in to protect mode but I'm not 100% positive. I have a lot of experience when it comes to car audio and used to build subwoofers & amplifiers for top tier audio company DC Audio however this car is a whole nother animal.
I've scoured the internet and tried maybe 8-10 different ways of getting it to turn back on and have had zero success. I've examined the amp, unplugged then plugged it back in, disconnected the battery for 15 minutes then reconnected it, checked the grounds, gone into engineering mode on the head unit and done what I could/what I read from a few guys on here and I'm just a dead end I feel.
Luckily I purchased the 3Yr/36K mile warranty from my local Dolan Lexus where I have a lot of friends on both the sales and service side I'd just rather figure it out myself and honestly don't have time to get the car in there at the moment.
Anyone out there have the same issue and have any direction they can point me in that may help solve this issue?
Any and all help greatly appreciated. Love the site. Joined day one of ownership and have already learned a ton!
