  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Spy shots of the long-awaited GV80.

I hope not as I can't buy one then. I also doubt it as this is on a rear drive platform and typically they are able to tow more.

All of the German SUV's in this category (GLE, X5, Q7) plus Range Rover, Land Rover Discovery, and even Dodge Durange, and Jeep Grand Cherokee can all tow over 7000lbs. It is only the wimpy and inferior FWD based Japanese SUV's from Lexus, Acura, Infiniti that can't tow that much. That is why I am thinking since Genesis is trying to focus a bit more on the German's that they match this spec as well.

I need at least 6000lbs to consider the GV80. I need a replacement for my wife's Grand Cherokee asap...
I so agree, I would be interested in that suv, I currently drive the X5 and when my lease is up, would love to grab the gv80, but it needs to tow like its competitors

Can’t really tell from these pics, but this reminded me of one observation I made during the focus group, that the button to open the rear gate is actually incorporated in the wiper stalk base. And by the way, the one I saw had the wheels similar to the ones on the current g80 sport, and IMHO they look the best!

Would you know if they plan to do a GV80 sport?

wow that suv handles well for its size. I cant wait to test drive one of these. Really liking what genesis is doing with these new cars.

What's up with the strobing brake lights?

What's up with the strobing brake lights?

Many cars have that feature when doing a very hard braking, to show the driver behind you shit is happening that may cause an accident so that it reduces the chance of getting rear ended.

Well...you can do whatever ever you want ;) it’s just that we are soooo close to seeing this thing that anything but a photo at this point is a step backwards.

Your comments are a step backwards.

^You know what’s a step backwards?! The release date for the GV80 and G80! I mean... haha, sorry everyone... don’t know what came over me... 😇

Its almost November. And there is still no official release date for the GV80 in Korea. If they keep delaying this launch for the Korean market, I wonder how much longer we have to wait until GV80 is available in the US. End of 2020 maybe?
