I specifically avoided the Ultimate for that reason! It's a bummer too, because that HUD and everything else is pretty sweet... But I spend about 1.5 hours a day in the car and am using Waze constantly.

Yeah... I'm going to be missing Waze on my upcoming roadtrip - Guess I'll have to break out the ol' CD slot phone holder!

Does the image need to be written to the OEM SD card that came with the car or can it be done on any sd card?

What were the steps to create a working update card when originally downloading from the site?

Also is the download specific to luxury, tech and ultimate models?

It can be done on any cd card or USB drive.
1. Restore the image on cd or USB
2. Insert into the cd card slot or USB
3. Update from the system settings
Will not work for ultimate models.

When I try to mount the image it's telling me that it's corrupt

I was able to download the img file and copy it over to an SD card using the Win32 Image Maker application. I inserted the USB stick into the vehicle and hit the update button under system info, however I'm getting a "Not Compatible with Hardware" error.

I've got a 2015 Genesis 3.8 Tech. It's a Canadian model if that makes any difference. Unfortunately looks like it won't work for me. Waiting to see if anyone else was able to get it to work.

The logs in update dir will provide more details but I assume the issue with the bootloader and software version because it's for SW_VERSION=ST.DH.USA.

Just brought home a CPO 2016 3.8 w/ tech package and have been beating my head against the wall all day trying to figure out how to get android auto. Literally all of the directions are wrong, including the official ones on Hyundai's website. Finally led to here,and am looking to try out the download you posted Crackzzzz, or heading to mapnsoft for the $145 download. Figured with a cpo, as others mentioned, that it would have been updated. But map version says nam.08.47.44.552.003.1 which seems like it has to be super old. Any potential issues trying to flash the update you provided?
