  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Folks,

did a little bit of research and got these lights for the rear turn signals and reverse light for my 2020 G70
Have had them on with remote starts for like 10 mins. Didnt see any error messages or hyperflashing. Here is an attached Video of a remote start led flash

Turn signals - EverBright 2800Lumen 1156 Led... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QWWZ6GJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

How did you like the brightness of the turn signals? I’ve seen some LEDs that are a little too bright for my liking. Maybe a lot too bright to the point of being blinding. They should not over power the other rear facing lights. I’ve been wanting to replace my turn signal bulbs but with a reasonable intensity level.

Nice work! I really like my reverse light LEDs and my turn signal LEDs. Been over 6 months and they're still working perfectly.

I installed these two days after buying the car. They've been flawless including daily remote starts. Crazy bright and nice, amber/yellow color.

The brightness is better than stock but not overwhelming. I actually like the way LED flashes vs regular bulb which was out of sync to rest of the bulbs.

Also they were fairly inexpensive. The turn signals were $15.99 and came with 1 year warranty. The bulbs look high quality and LED flash just enhances the look of the car :)

I am sure it looks good and all but as a guy who has been working in Lighting with LED products for over 20 years, I have to cringe when I see some claims on the Amazon listing: 2,800 lumen on a bulb like this, especially with amber LEDs is flat out impossible, my guess is that it would be 200 at the most (actually 2800 lumen for turn signals would be a safety hazard as they would be a glare bomb). The issue with this concept of aftermarket bulbs is that the LEDs are used the worst possible way cooling-wise, which compromises the overall performance (brightness and optical distribution) and long term reliability. At least for these applications, they don't do much damage, the aftermarket LED bulbs for headlights are a different story since they have a horrible and glaring distribution since they completely misuse the optical block that was designed for a different light pattern (filament). That is one of the reasons why you NEVER see these types of aftermarket products coming from reputable lighting manufacturers, only low tier Chinese manufacturers

I agree.. 2800 lumens is a joke.. but I don't think a bad quality rear turn signal will hurt anyone.. They are not too bright.

Have you heard about the Chinese HID's/ LED's for the highbeams which are causing electrical disturbances in radio of cars?

I am not surprised at all that it would, given the design that would be required to package the small driver at a very low cost in the bulbs. Established automotive lighting manufacturers would make sure that their design comply with any electromagnetic emission standards and would further test the equipment in different cars in that regard. I am not in automotive lighting but in commercial lighting and I see every day horrible products being proposed to project with the claim that they are competitive with high quality products, funny what you find when you test it a bit further...

Reputable companies do make replacement LED bulbs. Sylvania comes to mind. I replaced the signals in my truck with sylvania LEDs and they're very good.

My G70 signal bulbs look to be well made and have been trouble free for months. Plus they were inexpensive enough that if they do burn out, I'll just replace them and be good for a few more months.

For LED bulbs, check out www.diodedynamics.com Very high quality, and made in the US. The guy that started the company used to buy switches from me when he was in high school and change out the bulbs in the switches to different colored LEDs. Now he employs over 50 people with his own engineers.

I had side markers from them on my Camaro

Wait....none of their 1156 bulbs include built-in resistors. You'll get hyperflash when using their bulbs. :/

Do you need them on the G70? The front signals are LEDs and are on the same circuit.

I think so, how the car "will know" that the rear incandescent bulb blow out if it will not sense a lower resistance?

Got these over Black Friday and just got them installed this weekend. Turn signals are not overly bright, brighter than stock but not blinding. Seem to work fine so time will tell how well they last? LED reverse lights are nice and white, way better than stock bulbs. 10 minutes or so per side to install. Some of the nuts holding the lights in place are a little tight getting at.
