Been here awhile...
This is my first car that has any sort of voice command capability, and it's taken me a week or more to find the time to get into it, but hoo whee...I'm impressed!
With my 15-year-old's son's help, the phone connection came up smoothly (he laughs when he's reminded that his dad's an exec in a high-tech company; he thinks I'm a complete Luddite, and he's not all wrong ;-). Again, without a reference point, I'm very impressed with how well the system works. I can reel off a 10-digit number pretty fast and the system picks it up and runs with it.
In particular, maneuvering between the various audio options is really slick. Some things aren't worth the effort (e.g. switching between adjacent tracks, etc.), but I can keep my eyes on the road and tell the system to do all sorts of switches among the various audio options.
I'll still need a few days (weeks?) to work my way through all this, but I'm convinced that I'll get a lot of use out of this voice command capability when all is said and done.
