  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does the G70 come with the cord? I just purchased it Saturday and with it being late I was gonna come back for the salesman to set up everything but when looking I don’t even see a cord. My A4 came with one so I just assumed this would as well

Nope. Just plug your lightning cable into the usb in the front cubby and your off.

i bought a 6 inch cord on amazon; perfect fit to plug my phone in and make sure its all the way in the cubby

Cool thanks will do!

1 1/2 feet looks long. Can it be tucked away?

That’s what she said.
In all seriousness, I bought this coiled lightning cord for my iPhone and it works perfectly with Apple CarPlay. Without the phone plugged in, it fits in the storage compartment with door closed.

Mostly Google Maps and music. I use the TuneIn radio app occasionally. I also respond to some texts using Siri.

Android man myself and I always have Waze up when I'm driving, well that and Spotify.

Call me naive when it comes to Car play for I’ve only used it a couple times in rental cars and mostly for texting hands free. I keep no music on my iPhone (that I knew about anyway) still use an iPod for my music needs for if it’s not broke, it don’t need fixen. Was really surprised while playing around in my G70 and I hit the Car play music button on the nav display, I started seeing songs I had loaded on my IPod, but just my iPhone was hooked up. I’m assuming the songs are being pulled from Apple somehow? Maybe a cloud even though I was not aware I had stuff in a cloud? Thought that was pretty cool however they are getting to the car and playing? Sound fidelity was nice and those who have questioned or had sub woofer issues, my butt was a shaken and a rattling so my subs were working great. Impressed with the factory sound system so far. Just to confuse this more, when I look at my iPhone under ‘about’ it shows zero songs. When I press the music icon on my iPhone, there is music there somehow? Never have pressed that icon before now for never expected anything to be there. Maybe Apple is spying on me and jacking with my music?

Does anyone experiencing scratchy or better to call, interference in the sound while using Apple CarPlay, for example Spotify, while driving and change the drive mode from different positions when the selector rotated?. This is what is happening to me sometimes, i not sure if always been acting like this but is very noticeable for a month or so so far. I have to pause and sometimes kill Spotify and back on to fix this.

Mine does that while playing music on the AppleCarPlay (wired) if I switch driving mode. Now I try not to change mode on commute or quickly unplug and plug back the port which fixes it.
