  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Lease Comparisons and Discussion (USA)

Edmunds, assuming I’m using it correctly shows zero incentives for 2020 models when I look at the incentive page. It does not even show the $1000 loyalty and conquest discount shown on the Genesis web site so maybe it’s a little slow on being updated?

As @JayceM said, you need to check the discussion forum specific to the 2020 G70. Here is the link:

2020 Genesis G70 Lease Deals and Prices

Getting a quote on a lease from dealer:

2019 2.0T AWD Auto, Elite Package
MSRP: $43095
Lease rebates/incentives: $7995
Sales price: $35,100
RV at end of lease: $19393 (45%)
36 month, 12k miles

They want $550/month after tax (7%).

This sounds crazy high to me. I know the MF on this car is 0.00011. Plugging into Leasehackr, that gives me a payment of $473/month after tax.

Dealer claims this is the best they can offer. Any advice?

Might want to consider something else. They are not really willing to discount. They are probably jacking up MF from base. I decided to lease another Infiniti as Geneses just doesn't want to sell cars. Beautiful car just not willing to pay near MSRP. $550 a month, zero DAS can get you a 2020 $60K car.

Just wanted to share my first kick at the can with the local dealer on a 2019 3.3 Elite. Completely not competitive and not a deal I am willing to sign, but figured I would share the numbers none-the-less

36/12k
MSRP: $48,620.00
Total Savings + Rebate: -$8,341.00 (this appears to be $2,341 dealer discount, $5,000 lease cash and $1,000 competitive or bonus cash)
Sales Price: $40,279.00
License Fee: $141.75
Doc. Fee: $250.00
Residual Value: $22,851.00 at end of lease
First Payment Down of $604.00 and 35 payments of $604.00

Tons of meat on the bone here. Appears to translate to 4.8% off MSRP and some sort of marked-up MF around 0.001. I also looks like the dealer missed either the cometitive or bonus cash which should take another $1000 off the cap. Circle A should take another $1705.85 off the sales price as well if I can get to 15 posts and PM everyone's favorite certificate provider. It might still be a couple months before I move on anything but I'll report back if I make a deal.

I got an email from Genesis and probably everyone else here did too. Not much detail but the monthly payment seems attractive.

Looks like that is for a 2.0 Elite AWD versus the 3.3 model.

That's for a 2.0T Advance RWD. Not bad anyway.

I sent your specifics to a friend that works at a SoCal Genesis dealer. Will message you with what I get back from him.
Hi,

any update on the numbers. I’m trying to buy a 3.3 AWD Sport in Southern California

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at a 2019 G70 3.3T Advanced AWD both Elite and Prestige packages. I've never done a lease before so I'm nervous about committing. I've been working with the dealer through email and this is the package he's offering me:

Market Value 51,120.00
Discount Savings -3,380.00
Vehicle Selling Price 47,740.00
Accessories 199.50
Total Cap 47,939.50
Rebate Savings -7,500.00
Net Cap 40,439.50
36 Month Payment 450.82
Document Prep Fee 379.50
License / Title 304.50
Tire/eReg Fee 12.83
Acquisition Fee 750.00
Tax on Collected Items 1,597.21
1st Payment 450.82
Due On Delivery 3,494.86
Rate 0.00014
Annual Miles 10,000
Residual % [51,120] 45+3=48% Residual Amount 24,537.60
Tax: NJ 6.625% TAX % .4% LUX 6.625 %

Is this a good deal? Should I push for any changes?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

^ The Hyundai Circle price on that would be around $47k. Might as well try and counter with 46,900 and see what they say. You could always try and get a Circle A certificate from @r_spec but you may not want to take the chance of it being sold while you are waiting to get it and save a few hundred bucks. With the rebates it seems like a good deal overall.

Hello all,
I apologize this being my first post but my dealer seems to be trying hard to sell me a G70. I drove one and was just blown away, I wasn't expecting it. Coming from a Hellcat that I purchased and barely drive I'm thinking of leasing, maybe I'll get more enjoyment out of the car not being as worried about keeping it pristine for resale.

Here's the deal
2019 G70 Advanced AWD 3.3T MSRP 47,010
36mo 10k mile lease, 0 down
$345 month
Taxes everything included

What do you think?

I would say jump on it. I put 5k down on a 52900 MSRP AWD 3.3 Sport and am paying 530 a month taxes included on a 2019 about 3 months ago which I thought was a good deal. With 0 down that is a great deal I think.

Wait what?? That is really low. Are you sure it is a 3.3 and Awd? Is it a loaner?

a great deal to be honest!

Everything I said and only 123 miles on it. I just bought a 2020 Tucson for my wife that we brought in for some work, my salesman gave me this to drive while I waited.
