I’ve seen what the results of a car that went head on into a bridge abutment looked like.you won’t need a meat wagon a broom ,dustpan and a wet towel will be all that’s needed.

Obviously u didn’t read thru all the posts, bridge abutments are nothing to make light of.
 
I was considering not renewing membership but late last month they finally fixed the terrible mobile app. Before when using it, about half the times I sent a command it would come back with "unsuccessful" for absolutely no reason at all. Now since the new update it has worked every single time but once, and that's been about 3-4 weeks straight.

Seems like a pretty fair deal but... I still don't understand how remote start isn't an option/function on the key fobs. :rolleyes:

If on the fob you pay once. If in an app, they can get up to $300 a year from you.

Yes, I would like for it to be on the key instead of online (app), that would take care of the 1-2 minute delay. Can't believe a 50k car new doesn't come with remote start. :cautious:

I will only be renewing the remote start feature.
 
You can't get just the remote start feature. You have to pay for 2 services to get remote. $200+ a year minimum.

On the website it says different, along with the lady I called on the phone. Under "Remote Option" It says it gives you access to owner-controlled features via the web, smartphone app and virtual assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa.

Actually on the website if you go into manage subscriptions it says that Connected Care subscription is required for Remote. Personally I would want the Guidance subscription also. I use that all the time.

Hmmm, not sure why it's showing different things. It seems kind of fishy that there are different things showing. They may be trying to trick people into having to get everything.

I don’t think they are trying to trick anyone. Nothing sinister going on. It says what it says. Try to just get only the remote subscription and see what happens. It seems obvious that you can’t get remote functions without a connection. If you can buy just remote, lets see if it works.
 
I tried just to select only Remote and got the following message
The Connected Care package is required as a base package. The Remote term selected exceeds the Connected Care term. Please add additional time to the Connected Care package.

Why would you believe what Customer Car says? They haven’t be right about most things. They seem to make thing up as they go along. Not their fault, they just don’t get all the info. It’s not a conspiracy.

I just went further into the "manage subscription" options and see the page you sent a picture of. Looks like we are forced to have connected care like you said.

Personally I would want the Guidance subscription also. I use that all the time.
One thing I wish we could do on the app's map is to scroll the map to a location, then touch that location, and then send/navigate to that spot.

Sometimes I know where something is, just not sure what it's called.

I just connected to the Genesis website and realized I was on the Canada site. So Canada owners get five years?
