  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anybody ever connected a vehicle tracker on a 2015 Genesis Sedan? The OBD is super close to the access panel and it will not allow for reattachment if the Bouncie Tracker is installed. I tried sending it back and they sent me a photo that the OBD port could be removed and installed loose. Before I try this I would appreciate another opinion.
Thank you!

Do it as they says....pop it out and connect the Bouncie. I have the tracker hookup in my daughter's Santa Fe (don't ask why, lol) and it works fine! :D
As for the Genesis....I got something else connected and I had to remove it from the little bracket, otherwise access panel wouldn't stay in place. I can take a picture and show it if you like.

That would be great if you can send a picture.

Actually. You'd have to push it in to remove it from the bracket. Plenty of room to plug in something else and close it.
I'm using my phone now to post it, I hope it works.

Either pull it out (I did this to fit a wifi hotspot) or get an OBD extender with a 90 degree head.

Thanks for all of your help...tracker is installed. Happy New Years!!
