MOC Complete Fuel System Cleaning Service ?

Hello,

I had my Genesis in for service today. They asked me if I wanted "MOC Complete Fuel System Cleaning Service" for almost $200.

I declined it, but I'm wondering what it is and if it would be beneficial?

Anyone heard of it?

Yes, it is beneficial. The service writer gets a commission, the service manager gets a bonus and the dealer makes more profit.

Oh, you mean for you. When I had my Sonata they wanted to do it for $100. I'd consider it for a high miles car; done right it can't hurt may help. If you use top tier gas it should not be needed unless you are having some sort of problem.

I have done that at 45,000 mile service . The total service costed around 645 , and included cleaning of fuel system , ac system and all the oil changes etc .
