  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2 lights are out, 1 light dim, 1 light bright?

Do you have the Technology package with LED lights, or do you have standard bulbs? Either way, sounds like time to replace a few bulbs.

I didn't pay for the tech package. So do I have incandescent bulbs?

Do you have a touch screen NAV or a DIS controller located on your center console? Or a rare one is no NAV at all, which for the first Gen was only available without NAV in 2009 if I recall correctly.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the light covers without breaking them.

I'd like to know as well. Mine are starting to flicker a lot and the driver side is often pretty dim.

This is for the Genesis coupe, but I find it hard to believe that it's not applicable to the sedan as well -

I disassemble the rear lighting assembly to discover that the card that has three wires soldered to it connecting it to a circuit board full of all kinds of resistors transistors or whatever they are. It appears the only safe an effective way to remedy the problem is to replace not only the LED light for the entire circuit board.
