There is a video on Youtube of a G70 vs 2020 Supra GR. Supra gets the G70 off the line but G70 overtakes it. I was surprised the G70 would even keep up.

Curious. The G70 must have had mods? It weighs about 500 pounds more but doesn't have a HP advantage. (In fact, a recent Car and Driver article said their Supra put down 339 HP and 427 torque at the wheels!)

That’s crazy going through his comments a while ago he actually said somewhere it was tuned on e85 blend. Now I just keep seeing he says stock. I was actually questioning how truthful he was being he claims his car beat a fbo e85 tuned evo 10 which is not possible Those cars make like 550-600 wheel with fbo and e85 and run mid 10s And I’ve seen one run from a roll in person and it demolished my car on e85. Now if it was a stock evo then I believe it. I also raced a stock Supra on map3 with the e30 and sat door to door with it. Maybe I just suck at driving and make my car lose 50-100 hp if I can’t keep up with a similarly built evo 10

Yeah... I'm not sure. He's been honest in the past but who knows... You have direct experience and credibility on this board, so to me what you say goes on this one!

I also found another video of a g70 racing a fbo camaro ss on e85 It held pretty much dead nuts with it. Might have even slightly edged it out. Now do I believe that. Completely. What I don’t believe is they claim it had a jb4 and only ran 93 no other mods and made 450whp. To me it’s stuff like that I know is inaccurate and people try to make the car faster than it truly is. Not saying it’s slow by any means but come on 450 on 93 is absurd with no supporting mods lol or no e85 for that matter.

I’m gonna be trying to set up a roll with a tuned 392 hemi charger. Did a couple digs against him and it was a no go on map7 with e30. Those things just get off the line way quicker. But his best 1/4 at the track was a 12.2 and my track results have been slightly quicker than my draggy. So being I pulled a 12.44 on draggy Using map5 I’m assuming I might have a shot in a roll using map7 haha

Ok guys... Did several runs with 91 octane. 1/4 tank or less over a couple different days. Results are backwards of what we thought would happen.... My best time was this one. A few 4.8s, a couple 4.9's and several 5.0s. Tank of 87 was basically drained and 91 added. Have it a day to make sure it was fully in the system...

Short story, 91 octane was consistantly slower by about 2-3 tenths!

Remember...when you approach 1/8 of a tank...ECU shuts down as a safety. So stay close to 1/4 for any weight advantage.
