I think what we’re looking at are two people who have had their souls drained from dealing with a car salesperson for 6 straight hours...LOL.

That @*!*! (the dealer time-sink) really is ridiculous, and in my opinion a little bit deliberate. They're trying to get people so impatient that they'll sign anything to get out of there. On my wife's Expedition (purchased summer, 2018), I did everything over email/phone and let them know I wasn't about to sit there all day. Took all of 90 minutes before I drove out with the keys.

When I bought my Genesis Sedan in 2015, I walked out of one dealership that had me in the La-la-la window without informing me of the status. That very next morning, I went down to Texan Hyundai in Rosenburg, TX (Houston suburb) and got my car off the showroom floor.

Shopping at a Hyundai dealership will do that. It’s why Genesis needs its own standalone stores, stat!
