  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My car has 133k miles on it and I’d like to keep it going for as long as I could.

I was wondering what maintenance do I need to have done at this mark? Be it a small or a big job, please let me know as I am not a car person.

Yes, I’ve read the manual but I’d like your professional inputs.
Yes, I’ve searched through the forums but the info is just confusing.

I had the usual jobs done (oil change, brakes and rotors, spark plugs, air filter). Anything beyond that I’d like to know what I need to do.

*currently looking at changing serpentine belt and having rigid collars installed**

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Transmission drain and refill and new filter. BTW 133k miles is not high miles for a Genesis. They will go well beyond 200,000 miles.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m looking into it right now and I’m nervous because it says it might jack up my transmission.

do you have any recommendations (maybe a previous thread) on how to get this done properly?

Drain & refill is OK - Do NOT let them flush it!
