  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone have any issues with their front camera/any camera? If so, did you get it replaced or try and troubleshoot it?

Mine started to flicker slightly a couple of weeks ago. Now, whenever I start the car up, the camera just gives me a blue screen. By the time I get to work and my camera clicks back on for me to park, it's working, but it it flickers like crazy. Definitely annoying on the 360* view.

Car is absolutely still under warranty but I don't want to have to drive all the way across the valley here in the Phoenix to Scottsdale if it's something as simple as a loose connection in the system somewhere.

Won't the dealer come pick up the car for you, fix it, then return??

From what I understand, only the first/original owner can take advantage of the valet service. I bought mine with 8K on the Odo and am the second owner. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong though...

You are correct, as far as I understand.

Curiously, everything worked fine today...

I wonder if it's just a loose harness plug? If you don't want to mess with it yourself I'd definitely ask the dealer to check it out.

That’s what I’m thinking. I’m gonna pop the hood this weekend and see what I can find.

Unfortunately the associated wiring harness for the front camera is behind the bumper, so you really need to remove the whole bumper to properly inspect it.

Ugh. Yeah, that sounds about right. My Mazdaspeed6 is the same way if I want to do anything headlight assembly related. Remove the bumper, remove the assembly...change a bulb. Ridiculous.
