  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Milestone - Keep or retire?

If the 2015 is CPO, Tech (apple play) or Ultimate (Hud) and you do a lot of highway miles, the ride noise reduction upgrade alone, not to mention the additional toys would be worth it, IMHO.
However 2015+ are slightly more complex to repair the additional electronics, so extended warranty might be well worth the additional expense.
If you can get them to throw it as part of the deal it just might be to good of deal to resist, just my two cents..good luck...
Yeah, that is my MAIN concern. Warranty and also the fact it is at a stand alone dealer I saw passing on the hwy. The dealer has TONS of cars on his lot and I did some research last night via the VIN# and the car has been to 4 different dealerships in the area in the past 4 months! Very strange to me. I am again thinking it is a REPO or auction car. So a rep Hyundai dealer may be the way to go.

I could not agree more, trust your gut feeling.
A reputable dealer might be a wise decision, especially as you drive lots highway miles, it is nice to be able to drop it in any Hyundai dealer in case of unanticipated emergency.

Genesis family

This week I hit a milestone with my 2012 Genesis 3.8 Sedan prem. I have just turned my trouble-free Genesis' odometer to 200k miles! All highway. I put 160k on the car myself. All maintenance done by myself or warranty work done by the stealer-dealer. The ONLY issue i have ever had is with the NAV screen that is it! Change your oil (full synth), buy tires, change plugs at 100k miles, and just DRIVE. I can say without a doubt this has been the MOST reliable car I have ever driven to put this kind of miles on her in a short period of time. With that being said, should I keep her or retire her into Genesis heaven? I know it has ZERO value now to even bother too much at a dealership but I did see a 2015 Sedan with 40k miles at a good price at a side dealer who prob got it at an auction. Share your thoughts....Im curious.

Thanks
Ambush

LOL Why would i remove my camera? I did not say the car was wrecked or anything. The car is perfect with no electronic issue, engine, transmissions. I was just throwing around the ideas to keep it or not. Cameras are inexpensive on the interweb or try pull-a-part junk yards.
Good luck
