  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

control knob not working

Thanks for the update!

What the heck are you referring to??

Sounds like a personal problem. Might want to go see a doctor.

Everyone is going to think this is crazy, but it did work for my control knob that was sticking/not working. So I took a very small piece of cardboard from the back of a notebook and rolled it up to fit inside the little hole inside knob. Push knob back down into setting, and tada! It works.. hoping it can help somebody else out there.I know it's not a permanent fix but mines been like that for a few months and still going strong. If it stops working after you do this, just replace the cardboard. It's got to be a small piece.

Btw, this fix is for a 2010 Genesis 4.6 sedan variant
