  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am trying to import a contacts file stored on a usb stick. However, i get a message stating that a file is not found. The file is called AutoContacts.vcf. Has anyone tried to use this function to import contacts via usb rather than importing all contacts via your phone.

I didnt want to import all contacts from my phone, just a few so i created this file.

Thanks for any help

I did use this function but for a different purpose. My Santa Fe has the same GPS version as my G70. I was able to copy all my saved GPS saved locations from my Santa Fe to my GPS. Worked perfect for that purpose.

I rarely if ever use the phone book in the car. If I do I just used my entire imported phone book (about 1000 names) and then use the cars voice recognition. Most of the time I just hold down the voice recognition button on the wheel and tell Siri to call or text someone. Works great. Hands free.
